Dr. Stacy Le was raised in Foxboro, Massachusetts. From a young age she loved medicine and yearned to one day become a physician. Because of this interest, she became the youngest certified CPR instructor in the country at the age of sixteen. She graduated from Brandeis University in 1984 and received her MD degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, SC in 1988. She completed her residency program in Internal Medicine in 1991 at the Brown University Program in Medicine in Providence, RI (a program that was nationally recognized for its excellence in training for Primary Care). Dr. Le is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Before opening Progressive Medical Associates (a non-hospital affiliated private medical practice) in 2004, Dr. Le practiced in Massachusetts for thirteen years and served on numerous hospital committees and participated in medical residency training. She was appointed Clinical Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She served as a town physician in Medway, Massachusetts as well as the physician for the Medway Public School System.
Dr. Le has earned the Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO Blue Quality Award in recognition of outstanding results in primary care (only one of forty-one physicians in the state of Massachusetts to earn this privilege) as well as the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Excellence in Primary Care Award. She has also repeatedly earned the American Medical Association’s Physician Recognition Award, the Congressional Medal of Distinction, and United Healthcare Premium Quality and Efficiency of Care distinction. In her medical practice she is currently completing requirements to become a Patient Centered Medical Home.
Because Dr. Le feels that the current healthcare system is short-changing patients because of the lack of time the current system allows providers to spend with their patients, she provides interested patients a personalized healthcare program. In this program patients have extended visits of 45 to 60 minutes as well as 24/7 access to her cell phone and email as well as same day appointments. She thus limits her number of patients so that she can provide the personalized care she feels all patients deserve.
Dr. Stacy Le is the mother of three sons—her oldest has graduated with a BS in computer science, and her younger sons are both attending college. She is a licensed private pilot, is PADI scuba-certified, and has a Ham Radio license. She has been actively involved in an international non-denominational bible study called Bible Study Fellowship for several years where she is a group leader. She also hosts a church community group in her home.
Stacy Mullet is originally from Sarasota, Florida. She received her undergraduate degree from Florida State University. After 9 years of working as a registered nurse in the ICU, OR, and in Plastic Surgery, she returned to school to pursue a Master's degree. She graduated with her Master's degree from Vanderbilt University in 2005, and since that time has been practicing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in Internal Medicine.
In 2009, she furthered her training by receiving a certification in the cosmetic use of Botox and dermal fillers.
Stacy lives in Huntersville with her husband Greg, daughter Maggie, and son Grant. In her free time she enjoys running, reading and spending time with her family.
